Bodybuilding.com’s Project Mass – Day 53 – Hypertrophy Based Back Day

Before we get to the Pull-Workout that will without a doubt change your life, I wanted to throw a piece of diet advice at you. We’ve all done the eating regimen where we go super healthy, and manage to completely abstain from anything considered bad, except for on the ‘cheat’ day.
What I wanted to tell you guys was if it’s not your cheat day, and you feel like some ice cream, have it. You want some pizza? Go right on ahead. Having some junk food now and again is absolutely no big deal, and will not steer you in any type of wrong direction. Think about it like this, if you ate like crap 24/7, and then one day decided to have a salad for lunch, would you lose any weight? Absolutely not, and it works both ways.
Look, it’s good to watch what you eat, and make sure not to inhale crap all the time, but it’s also very important to live a little. Enjoy yourself. Mob down a large french fry. A milk shake. 3 bowls of Peanut Butter Crunch. Whatever. It’s good to indulge. It’s also very important that when you do, you don’t fret about it. So many people with a healthy eating regimen freak out over a lot of things, like going out to dinner with friends. Oh no, what if the restaurant doesn’t have anything I can eat, or blahblah this, or blahblah that. You honestly do worse for your body stressing out over things like that than just eating the Double Swiss Triple Bacon Burger.
Enjoy your life, don’t over do it, and kill it in the gym.

Pre-Workout: 2 scoops of C&C Muscle Milk, 5g of Creatine.

Iso-Lat Pulldown – 140×8, 8, 8, 8

Cable Row – 150×8, 8, 8, 8, 90×8

All of the 5th sets you’ll see are drop sets.

Hammer Strength Iso-Reverse Grip Pulldown – 140×8, 160×8, 185×8, 8, 140×7

Hammer Strength One Arm Row – 90×8, 115×8, 8, 8

Standing Dumbbell Curl – 30×8, 22.5×8, 8, 8, 15×8

Flex Cable Curl – 17.5×8, 20×8, 25×8, 8, 12.5×8

Hammer Curl – 30×8, 8, 8, 8, 27.5×3, 22.5×3

Incline Walk – 15 minutes

Post-Workout: 24oz of Gatorade, 30g of Whey Isolate, 5g of Creatine, 1 scoop of BioGro.

Alright, hippest of the hip cats, I’m out. Tomorrow is my off day in which I bask in AMPM breakfast burritos, Starburst minis, and teriyaki. I’ll see you guys on Saturday for the start of a new week with some strength based leg day, which is sure to cure world hunger. I mean, how could it not? It’s squats & deads, baby!
